The Stream | Japan’s Market Evolution: Exploring Asia’s Changing Investment Landscape
Tuesday September 30, 2025

Join us for a conversation with 18 Salisbury Capital Limited, the newest fund on our platform. Based in Hong Kong and Tokyo, the team manages the 18 Salisbury Asian Special Situations Fund, a Japanese equity-focused long/short strategy with selective Pan-Asian opportunities.

In this session, Stephen Yuen and Masanori Takaku will discuss Japan’s evolving equity landscape, how structural reforms and governance shifts are shaping opportunities, and how their “quantimental” approach blends fundamental research with dynamic trading. They’ll also share insights into performance, risk management, and what lies ahead as Japan becomes an increasingly important market for global investors.
